On 1 October in Spilamberto, the temporary exhibition entitled "Romans and Longobards, tenants of a rustic villa" was inaugurated in the local Antiquarium Museum. The review - under the curator Prof. Paolo De Vingo of TURIN UNIVERSITY - consists of finds and descriptions concerning the change of occupation of a rustic villa between Romans and Longobards, the latter occupying the rustic buildings as "tenants".
Before the inauguration, a few words of greeting were spoken by the Mayor Umberto Costantini and by the Councillor for Culture, Simonetta Munari, as well as by the representatives of the Superintendence responsible for the territory, Luigi Malnati and Sara Campagnari, and of the Institute for the artistic, cultural and natural Heritage of Emilia Romagna, Fiamma Lenzi. Prof. De Vingo led a guided tour of the exhibition, which was followed, in the afternoon, by the lecture on "Food cultures of the Miiddle Ages", by Prof. Antonella Campanini of the University of Gastronomic Sciences.
